Oh Hi There! A Project Life Share

Hi there friends!  I know, I know, it's been quite a few months since I posted on my blog.

With being back at full time work since around this time last year I really haven't done much in the way of traditional scrapbooking layouts, but in 2016 I feel like I've really found my happy place between the time that I have to scrapbook and the memories I want to record.

I'm Project Lifing, using a 6x8 Simple Stories album which is perfect for the number of photos I take each week and it also doesn't take forever to complete a layout.

I'm also continuing with my Citrus Twist Kits subscription this year.  Trina does an amazing job of putting the kits together, and I love that I have a beautiful variety of coordinated products delivered to my door each month.

I've kept up to date with every week this year, but this is as far back as I felt I could go to start sharing hehe.  This is late March, using the March Pocket Life kit and the March Add on kit.  So much Maggie Holmes and gold goodness!!

I put together this 3x4 card by using some plain white cardstock and running it through my Cuttlebug machine with an embossing folder, and then layering a few of the ephemera pieces and some gold thread.

This was a really simple card to put together as well, I love to use the string that ties the kits together on my spreads.

Oh my, did my work colleagues love these Easter chocolate cupcakes as a treat!  I popped one in a vintage tea cup to take a quick photo of.    I added a 6x4 insert sleeve to include it this week.

The gold glitter thickers placed over the photo makes it look a little bit fancy don't you think?

This is the reverse of the insert.  I added a punched tab to the insert for some added shape and interest.

I had tried to fit this little doe in somewhere for a few weeks, but she just didn't seem to fit.. until this card.  I love that her eyes seem to rest on that sweet quote.

And that wraps up the week!

If you've still had my blog on your reading list from way back, thank you so much for your patience! It feels so good to blog again.  I'm not planning on putting a lot of pressure on myself to keep up with blogging, but if I can I will!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!
